The hosts of APMP 2019 warmly invite your participation in the Symposium being held on Wednesday, 4 December 2019, in association with the 35th Asia Pacific Metrology Programme General Assembly and Related Meetings. The Symposium will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Sydney.
The topic of the 2019 Symposium is Metrology for the Digital Economy: Improving Business Competitiveness. At this auspicious event, you will have the opportunity to hear from Australian Government representatives, including about the Government’s “Digital Economy Strategy” launched in December 2018, and obtain global, regional and national perspectives on the opportunities and challenges presented by the digital economy.
Keynote lectures from Dr Martin Milton (Director, International Bureau of Weights and Measures, BIPM) and Mr Anthony Donnellan (Director, International Bureau of Legal Metrology, BIML) will highlight how the international scientific and legal metrology communities are responding. They will be followed by presentations from Australian research and industry representatives and an engaging panel discussion.
We look forward to seeing you there!
